| HEY LIVEJOURNAL BUDDIES! |

LONG TIME NO SEE!
I've been so busy lately between the meetings with dignitaries and the dance classes! I met a fab gal at salsa last week and I think we are in love! More about that later! And also yesterday I hung out with Butros Butros Gali and we totally rocked karaoke! BBG is a total mic hog! He does a wicked Christina!
Later we went back to his place and played Wii! He's really good at boxing, but he can't touch this when it comes to bowling! We got chinese and then feel asleep on the couch. When I woke up I ran down to the corner store and bought a whole box of snickers! We ate like 10 each and then I had to get back to hang at salsa class! I'm a salsastar!
Anyway! Awesome, right?
PEACE!
MIKE

right, so if you're a gal and you post your picture on livejournal and i'm browsing through and see that your entry has comments, i can know without clicking through that at least one of the first five entries will say something about how pretty you are.
i'd imagine you know this (as a gal) going in.
ok, so say you're got a toothache... if you're me, you find something sharp, and start poking your gums... paperclip is great for this, because not only is it sharp, but the feeling of metal on teeth is horrible.
i cannot stop myself, though.
you?

I feel pretty good about most things.
Here it is: my goals in life were just college, job, house... that was pretty much it, so after that all happened, it's cake. I can take vacations! I've been to Arizona and Yellowstone this year. I'm going to the Smokies. There are people that never leave town. I've ridden a bike across the state.
And summer is winding down and I don't ride as much as I should. I don't have commitments. I have to pay some bills and go to work. What do I have to complain about? Life is fantastic. My gal never bothers me, we do what we want, I go to bed with a kiss and end every phone call with I love you. We don't get hung up on anything, and if we do we talk it out. We think everyone else is crazy.
It's not good to brag. And it's not good to be so sure of yourself.... but it works out. I can do anything, there's nothing to stop me, and no excuses, and I'm fucking awesome. And so is she, and so are we.
I bet I'm going to get hit by a car this weekend.

after viewing my vacation photos, it seems pretty obvious that i've got a lot of weight loss work to do.
i don't get it, though. i put in more work than anyone i know.

this is another somewhat regular reminder to whatever controls whatever that i am indeed still thankful for all of it.
i think karma is tangible, i just don't like sounding like a hippie.

THE SWEET SOUNDS OF INJURED FRENCH |

this weekend we watched a soccer game and went to art vs art (not in that order) and today i sat around while it rained. i put a blue seat on a bike. i put blue tape on bike handlebars. bike is now ugly. ugggly.
not in that order.
um. today i watched all the soccer games. eh, whatever. hmm. i need to be serious about bike training but i'm more halfassed lately. gonna bite me in the ass. arse.
doing laundry.
i will now offer unsolicited advice to everyone i can think of.
nikki - go back and read about how excited you were when you finally got your own place. then decide.
james - write your own advice column
nate - boycott ham
mark - visit togo
brent - wu tang is forever
dave - might as well go for a soda
dave - might as well go for a yoda
tom - how's that kid thing going? have 12 more.
brant - leave your family behind to start a convent for korean prostitutes who now want to become the pope. send postcards.
no offense to your family, of course. it's just that korean prostitutes NEED TO BE POPE.
when your calling comes...
um.. who'd i forget?

i've been working on tv show ideas:
1) who wants to wrestle a concrete badger? - contestants are thrown into a swimming pool and pelted with concrete badgers. the winner is the contestant with the least amount of brain damage.
2) jeopardy (with fire) - just like regular jeopardy, except contestants who answer incorrectly have one item of their clothing set on fire. works on a few levels, because everyone wants to see hot naked women.
3) wheel of misfortune - contestants spin a wheel that contains various types of misfortune (your child is born with no arms, your dog has rabies and bites your face, you get aids from an ape). vanna white is then dismembered.

i'm wearing a pink shirt today.

[08 May 2006|01:38pm] |
Instead of writing about the bike trip that Nate, Brent, Dave and I took together, I'll sum it up with one picture.

Yes, we are 30. Well, Dave is 29. But close enough.
